Chrome Music Lab Way to go Ella L.! She sang the "Star Spangled Banner" at a hockey game in front of a lot of people! Way to be a risk-taker and remember all those words! We are so proud of you! Thank you to everyone who helped us and generously donated to the Lone Pine Music Program! We have raised enough to purchase a new digital piano from Evola Music. Thank you to the many families who donated, and especially the Mann family! Lone Pine is a great place for Music Education!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We have received many donations so far, and we are on our way to a new digital piano! Please help us reach our goal! Checks can be made to "Bloomfield Hills Schools". Thank you for your support of the Lone Pine Music Program!
Way to go first graders at your concert this week! You were prepared, and had a lot of fun singing for your families. I am proud of you and all of your hard work! In case you missed it, here's our video for Noise Day! Two of our third grade students have shared their original song on YouTube. Please check out their amazing work! Way to go Hayley and Caryn! I hope you all had an enjoyable break! Here are a few upcoming music events:
First Grade Concert: February 9th I am so excited for our upcoming First Grade Music Program! This year, our program is called “Noisy Monsters” and we are excited to share what we have been learning with you in Music! We will also have our first grade monster art projects on display for this event. Here is the information you may need. When: Monday, February 9th at 7:00 in the Fine Arts Wing at Lone Pine. Arrival: Please have your child arrive to their classroom at 6:45. They should leave their coats and other personal items with their families, not in the classrooms. The classroom teachers will walk the students down to the Fine Arts Wing when it is time for the show! Dismissal: After the program, students will be dismissed to their families. At this point, the building will be closed off, and students will not be able to go back to their classrooms. What to Wear: I’d prefer that students “Dress Up” for this event. Please no jeans, or shirts with any writing on them. Dresses or skirts, suits or khakis, are appropriate. If you have any questions, please contact me at [email protected]. Please see the choir page for our upcoming event! Way to go second grade musicians! Your enthusiasm and cooperation made our concert extraordinary! I am so proud of your hard work, and I am so glad that so many families came to support you! Amazing job :)
